We began our campus improvements in March of 2005, with extensive technology upgrades to classrooms, labs and offices.
We also began upgrading office interiors and restroom facilities in the main building during the 2005-06 school year.
The lobby of our performing arts auditorium was remodeled with new paint and carpet, and beautiful wood trim around the auditorium’s entrances. The focal point--a custom-built ticket booth to accommodate guests at our renowned student and community productions.
On February 28, 2006, we held a groundbreaking ceremony to launch the start of construction on our new athletic field, which was completed in 2006. Check out pictures of construction on the field here.
An architectural rendering of the Yerkovich Center gymnasium, planned for an upcoming phase of the Legacy Campaign, was unveiled at long-time Judge basketball coach Jim Yerkovich's 40th Anniversary Celebration on March 11, 2006.
This photo of the inside of the boys' locker room shows the amazing improvements made over the summer of 2006. Neither the boys' nor girls' locker rooms had been updated in decades. Now they are appropriate for use not only by Judge students but by our many visiting young athletes.
The beautiful ticket booth was the final improvement built in the auditorium lobby during the 2005/2006 school year. Aside from providing improved visitor services, its copper and wood facade add warmth to this public area.
It was an evening we'll never forget! Homecoming, September 29, 2006, and the dedication of McCarthey Stadium. This parachuter brought the game ball to the waiting referee. We topped off a perfect evening with a victory over the Union Cougars.
This "star" photograph was taken from the Judge parking lot overlooking McCarthey Stadium, September 29, 2006.
Plans are also under way for a new performing arts addition, a new chapel, renovations to the library, and ongoing improvements to the main building as funds allow.
